Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

One of the most enduring shows of all time, Tim Rice & Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is the irresistible family musical about the trials and triumphs of Joseph, Israel’s favorite son. Directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Andy Blankenbuehler, this new production is a reimagining of the Biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers and the coat of many colors.

Swine Palace begins the season with the 2013 Pulitzer prize winning play, Disgraced by Ayad Akhtar. Presented by Swine Palace, performances in the Shaver Theatre. In this 2015 Tony nominated play, playwright Ayad Akhtar explores the concept of self identity in our confusing, multicultural landscape.

With nine albums, 12 No. 1 radio singles, a GRAMMY Award and eight additional nominations, three Billboard Music Awards, 21 Dove Awards, a platinum and four gold albums to his credit, Chris Tomlin is among the most well-known and influential artists in contemporary Christian music. Opening the show will be energetic Northern Irish worship favorites Rend Collective.

The Rocky Horror Show

This is the Theatre Baton Rouge’s fall fundraiser. On October 31st the event features a before and after party from 8pm till 1am with the performance at 10pm. The party includes food, a signature drink, music and dancing with the cast and a costume contest with some amazing prizes.
